The Renaissance League is a fan-centric sports organization dedicated to making female rugby accessible, enjoyable and sustainable from participation to performance.
We promote lifelong engagement in sport for fun, fitness, and personal growth while advancing community wellness and equity. Through a regenerative financial ecosystem, the League reduces the burden on families, reinvests in its athletes and fans, and serves as a lasting asset to the communities where rugby is played.
Our model fosters long-term growth by aligning the interests of players, fans, and investors—building a future where sport is both a joy and a shared value.
The League will expand:
• The number of female athletes that participate in the sport of rugby.
• The number of rugby fans
• The number of rugby sponsors
• Total revenue generated from rugby activities
The League will engage in the sale of tickets, merchandise, concessions, and sponsorships to generate revenue to offset costs, resulting in a reduction of the athlete fee and the economic and time burden on parents.
The League will serve as a demonstration of the concept of a Sports Totality whereby the profits generated from all activities are captured and recirculated within a regenerative financial ecosystem.
The League will implement an economic participation structure that enables individuals, fans, communities and businesses to share in revenues generated by the League.
The League’s operational model is built around regional collectives known as Tribes, each designed to serve as an integrated hub with a well-defined pathway for professional and amateur rugby development within its assigned geographic territory.
Beginning in 2026 with 5 Tribes competing in a centrally located National Tournament, the league will expand to 10 tribes, comprised of 10 Age Grade Central Academy Squads, each fed by 5 Age Grade Development Academy Squads each, playing in the Tribal Feeder Conference for their geographic designation.
Ultimately, Development Camps and Competitions for all age grades will be hosted across the US, coinciding with Senior Professional play, with all eyes on the players as they progress along the pathway.
